Abbie: Hi and welcome to the CosmoParenting Podcast. I'm Abbie and I work with the CMM Institute for Personal and Social Evolution to create better social worlds through better communication. In this podcast, I will be joined by those who are parenting, educators, family therapists, and communicators alike to explore what it means to parent.

CosmoParenting is about recognizing that what it means to parent is different for all of us. In this space, we invite you to see yourself as someone who is curious about and actively participating in creating your own meaning around parenting. It is up to you to define parenting for yourself, but that’s not to say you have to do it alone. CosmoParenting is designed to support you on this journey by enriching your parenting toolbox, offering one short episode each week that provides opportunities to reflect, listen, connect, practice, and engage.

The journey of parenting is a lifelong one, and we think of it like improvisation- you don’t always know what will happen next, in fact, you almost never do, but with the right tools, practices, and language you can feel confident in meeting unexpected moments, and you can trust yourself to act in alignment with your hopes for your family.

CosmoParenting is part of our CosmoActivities series of resources, which includes CosmoKidz, CosmoTweenz, and CosmoTeenz. Each set of activities is designed to give the target age group the opportunity to think creatively about their role in the construction of social worlds. You can access all our CosmoActivities for free at www.cosmoactivities.com.

And check out www.cosmoparenting.substack.com to listen to podcast episodes, view transcripts of the episodes, and engage with our CosmoParenting community. We are so glad you are joining us for CosmoParenting. And we’re so grateful to be on this journey with you.
